The Institute for Telehealth leadership team, who have worked together since 2001, consists of clinical and non-clinical members, each with 15 to 25 years of healthcare experience in the fields of telemedicine, teleradiology, and inpatient/outpatient clinical care. Prior to forming the Institute for Telehealth they achieved notable success for their many accomplishments in developing and managing more than 70 profitable healthcare centers for leading telemedicine, radiology, and radiation oncology organizations nationwide.

The Institute for Telehealth’s Chief Medical Officer and co-founder has nearly two decades of acclaimed telemedicine experience. Prior to the Institute for Telehealth, he co-developed and directed a leading university-based telemedicine program that garnered national recognition for its prominence in the field.

Together with dedicated clinical, administrative, and technical personnel, the team is proud to have been awarded an RUST DLT grant to provide telemedicine equipment in hospitals and clinics that serve rural and underserved communities.


Steven R. Renard, MBA, CHE

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Steve has more than 25 years of health care leadership experience. He is co-founder of the Institute for Telehealth, and has oversight of the company’s growth, development, and management. He works closely with the administrative team to assure quality care and service, and has direct responsibility for venture formation, investor relations, strategic partnerships, and capital funding. In May 2017, Steve was recognized nationally with a bronze level CEO award from SVUS Awards for Start-up of the Year. Rankings were based upon successful growth over the previous three years.


Javeed Siddiqui, MD, MPH

Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Siddiqui co-founded the Institute for Telehealth, where he serves as the Chief Medical Officer, and is the primary developer of clinical programs and strategy. He directs the Institute for Telehealth s extensive group of multi-specialty medical providers, and is instrumental in managing the operational and business development aspects of the practice. Dr. Siddiqui also practices inpatient and outpatient telemedicine as an Infectious Disease Physician.
